i wonder how the final rating will be managed/determined.. I would surmise that those laid off will get ranked the lowest since there IS a forced ranking among the 1's, 2+, 2, 2- & 3.....

there will be no bonuses this year and they are cutting 401k match and petrotech supplements as well. good luck
Call it a SIP because that's all it will be.
You will still get your SIP based on your business unit's performance and your contribution. It will be the smallest SIP in a decade.
It is a factor if that person ever decides to pursue an opportunity at Chevron again. The only experience I can speak of is being selected in a previous ROM and having to deal with a manager who was left standing. That jerk crucified his direct reports both actively and passively in the PASA sessions. In other words he gave lower numbers to high performers and did not lift a finger for those that struggled when the other TL's provided their input.
