Wal-Mart announced ahead of cutting 500 corporate positions and as their realistic CEO said "there are no cash registers at corporate offices". Wholefoods that prides itself in all things "compassion", "humane", "tenderness", etc (even for animals) ambushed its team members to hand out the pink slips. We will wait for November 4th to see if wallstreet will buy into your games.

You do realize they have cut regional offices for the last 3 years right?
Wal-Mart is actually run by professionals.
LOS ANGELES, Oct 12 (Reuters) - Whole Foods Market Inc on Monday said it made a minority investment in Mendocino Farms, an 11-unit, upscale sandwich chain known for its indulgent sandwiches and salads made from ingredients such as "humanely" raised, antibiotic-free pork. lol.
Target did the same thing. But, keep in mind that both WMT and TGT cleaned up the stores during the recession, they did cut to the bone in 2009 and 2010, so there is really nobody left in the operations who can be cut. The fat is in the corporate office as they manage to deflect the attention. Also, keep in mind that TGT for example has 15K people working in the corporate office, that's a huge number and layers of fat and blood sucking were accumulating over decades. With this being said, I guarantee you that once they purge stores here at WFM they will move onto the Global and they will be cutting people left and right. Granted that it was said that we'll invest into 'technology', so I'd assume that group might be saved somewhat. Just my two cents on this topic.
