They want you to reapply for a new position and give it to you so they can fire you a month later and not have to pay severance. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not for everyone. Id have to MOVE to another city without relocation help if i wanted to stay because no positions were available in my metro.
Wfm is not worth that anymore. No way. Not for the unrealistic expectations for meager pay.
But Whole Foods gave you a choice,you could have reapplied or went to another departmentThere were choices.It was YOUR choice to leave.Stop being a victim!
How compassionate of you. Wait until it's you that gets laid off. We don't always like every person we work with and have opinions of others work ethics but I would never ever wish being laid off in such a abrupt, uncaring way on anyone. Those of us that took the severance just walked out the door without any big good byes or cards of any kind. Like we were never there all of those years
