Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

The worst career experience that I have ever lived through was at the Brookside Whole Foods in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was chaotic Incompetence at every level and in every decision made by the worst gaggle of managers assembled under one roof. Rebekah Apotre, Nicola Daubert, and Megan Gaither were the equivalent to a stool sample with a broken lid. They were lazy, they were a disaster in staffing the store, and they had no follow-through with any portion of their job responsibilities. The store was almost closed down by the health department due to their bumbling , cracky leadership.

Let's not forget to mention the pathetic job the HR managers brought to this dismal sh--show. As if Amelia Peterson wasn't unqualified enough in her role... they placed that scarecrow with no brains, DeDe Drinnon in her position during her pregnancy leave of absence. Everyday felt like a third-rate reality show.. starring the worst humans with a manager's code and a store key they could scrape from the bottom of the barrel ... co-starring the worst decisions and personal integrity all the above displayed on the daily. Most of them got what they deserved. There's that. :)

Sandra "mama" was in charge of that store. Why is she still employed? Nasty dirty store, terrible leadership. But wait....she doesn't get held accountable or laid off...she just gets a store in Houston to ruin!!

Yeah! On the front end she always buddied with one of her friends. It was always bad up front when Nicola and her buddy were together

The health department issued last year was because of the entire store. Tm's, atl's, tl's, astl's and the stl. Since everyone likes to rush out of the store things get overlooked. But there should be some system to ensure things are not soo dirty. Ultimately it falls on Rebecca APOTRE. She can not communicate and only cares about gossip. Those tls were great that were mentioned, but Nicola! She only talked s&it about everyone in the store and complained about everything. I know whoever posted this did not work with her

Well, I am through telling myself that things are getting better. Everyone I know well is looking for a new job. This place is crumbling apart. It will turn into an experiment store next year. Although, I'm sure when the 4th quarter "earnings" report come out we will be in deeper shit than the hogs in Arkansas. More job cuts are coming when we don't meet our profit targets. Wait until after we are used for the holidays. It's true what they say, "you can put lipstick on a pig but, in the end it's still a pig". Rebecca and Megs were idiots though. But those tls mentioned were great

I don't know, I think maybe the shitstorm was inevitable and the tls we have now were just set up for failure. I know a few that are still decent people and decent bosses. I think they are probably disillusioned and recognize the lost cause and feel hopeless and powerless like the rest of us.

I don't put all the blame on them for the health dept problems. Some of the good old tls mentioned above regularly did things that are not ok health code-wise... The difference is that they existed in a wf world where they had the support of store and regional leadership, and the company still had integrity and valued its people. Point is, I think most of the shitstorm is coming from above, and probably a lot at our particular store is leftover shit we're still cleaning from the dark ages of Rebecca and 'Megs'.

This place was not a shitstorm when they were there. We have been shut down twice by the health department since they have all left.

You know what they say, "All great things eventually come to an end". I mean, do you know how much money I use to make annually!?!?! You have no idea! Now i'm stuck paying myself $1/YEAR (I hope they don't discover my other hidden paper trails I have linked to offshore accounts in other countries that will be tax exempt due to Federal Laws) so that we can afford to pay you little maggots $11/hr. But is that good enough for ya? No, ya want discounts on shit you can really afford for lunch, health care that I am opposed too, and you complain on having to cover multiple TMs responsibilities because of all the layoffs we have had recently at the same $11/hr pay. I ONLY GET PAID $1/YEAR and I work 100 times harder than you do! Plus I'm a Genius!

The only leader that Is good now is Bowman. I miss the others. It has never been near the same. Our leaders now are idiots that run around looking like they have no idea of what is going on
