@988 as a diabetic who paid through the nose for prescriptions because of the health plan I can only image what costs that person must face. I am in no way saying EDMC was doing that out of the person's benefit, I'm saying they have options that can help them. Brain cancer is very devastating and can become extremely difficult for a person to maintain their level of work. I was not siding with EDMC, all I was stating was that hopefully this gives the person an opportunity to get better care than what the garbage plans at EDMC offer. So you can take your fervent hopes and shove them you uneducated simpleton.

'571' actually it might be beneficial for that person with brain cancer to get fired. The Aetna insurance plans offered their are garbage and that person probably would have been paying a ton still. Now they can get medical assistance which would cover more costs. There are stories of people with cancer being laid off by their bosses so that they could not have the stress of work and get better coverage than what the employer could offer. As much as I hate EDMC don't jump to the conclusion that this person is worse off by getting let go. You can still collect unemployment for being fired over performance based issues.

Compliance is all a matter of who you're in with. I've seen some AR's get walked out for what others are still on the floor doing. Saw someone get saved by his AM during a live call just today. Just depends on what crowd you're in with. If they want you gone they will dig through calls for as long as it takes. It's a joke.
The coward managers at SUO fired a guy with brain cancer, because of "compliance", even though he had no training on the conten he was discussing. That's about as low and scumbaggish as you can get. The guy didn't even get a warning, just fired. Also, he lost his insurance when fired, something someone with brain cancer could certainly use! Sad.
