I couldn't do it, so I just got out. I'm sad but also feel like I escaped a sinking ship. I had to take a pay hit but there are plenty of $11/$12 dollar per hour jobs out there with room to advance. Might as well start fresh and not have to pretend I still work in an 'amazing' company. Forget them. I had over ten years invested and was damn good at what I did. Glad I got out before the holidays. We were already running so thin before the layoffs and now morale with tanking, it will be awful this year. Good luck to those who choose to stay. They are lucky to have you and DON'T DESERVE YOUR LOYALTY.

Can't wait to get out. Hoping to get laid off in the next round of cuts.
Good for you man. I've been there ten years as well, and have lost every shred of respect that I once had for this evil corporation.
I stopped giving loyalty to this company a few months after I got hired. My team leader was told by our STL that we were making too much in gain sharing and needed to hire up. Our team worked damn hard and deserved those bonuses.
A majority of the remaining people in my store was quietly looking for new jobs and will quit as soon as we find one. We hate this company but we still have bills to pay.
Nothing wrong with $11/hr
