Mitch-

I'm still working and visit the forum just about every day. I watched our so called leadership kick strong, intelligent people out the back door like criminals because that is what their masters told them to do and they obey without question. Meanwhile people who have no business holding any job here remain. It's all smoke and mirrors, skill and talent are worth less than kissing up and stepping on those below you to do it. I'd like to see you run a cheese counter by yourself on a busy Saturday. Your "betters" will not help you. Unless their boss is around of course. Maybe try on our shoes before slinging insults.

I like how everybody who lost their jobs are the ones posting this garbage. You lost your job because you f***in sucked at it. Get your severance and get on with life, or don't, either way you will always have shitty work ethic and probably suck at life as well.

Wal Mart would buy us out just to get rid of us.

$144.7 billion WALMART

The six Waltons on Forbes' list of wealthiest Americans have a net worth of $144.7 billion.

VS

$14 billion, Whole Foods Market

This would be too funny

WalMart is too smart to pay for this hot mess.

They've already figured out that they can sell the same products for less because WFM is overcharging to begin with.

I buy all my local and organic groceries from major regional grocers in the NW and I'm a WFM employee. The prices are so low, even lower than my WFM discount would make them, and they carry products that WFM can't get anymore due to fights with distribution. AND the grocer is employee owned, loyalty means ownership and a great retirement.... I should have started there a decade ago and not have wasted my time with WFM, I'd have more to show for it. People who shop at WFM are getting duped, and the truth is finally starting to seep out slowly...

its interesting that they carried the wild oats brand pasta sauce..ive always kinda suspected that walmart wanted to buy wild oats but we beat them to it..i also think that anti-trust suit with our buy out of wild oats was sponsored via back room deals by walmart..they could have a high end market in wild oats and the main street market in walsmarts..total domination..

I stopped at a Walmart neighborhood market near the house because I needed some pasta sauce in a hurry. These neighborhood markets are small grocery stores. Ours is near a local university. Anyway I found both Wild Oats Organic pasta sauces and Newman's Own too (conventional) for $1.99. Last time I checked we had Newman's Own for $3.79. While there I picked up Chobani 100% natural greek yogurt now in about 25 flavors for $1 each. We stupidly threw out Chobani, which is an awesome product but there they are at Walmart. I was curious about what else was in there and found some Bolthouse natural dressings, Food Should Taste Good tortilla chips, coconut oil, Cascadian Farms granola, organic unsweetened soymilk, King Arthur whole wheat flour and Amy's burritos. By the way the store is actually eco-friendly with skylights and freezer cases with doors to conserve energy. The associates were fairly pleasant and the customers weren't the trashy types you see at the big box Walmarts. I used the self-checkout and was in and out in five minutes. They have their charities too...One of them is the Children's Miracle Network which supports 170 children's hospitals here in the US. Hard to find fault with that organization. I'm trying real hard to grasp exactly how the public is going to be convinced to "change the world" by spending twice as much to drive 30 miles out of the way to buy these same items at WFM.
