Teams will be combining soon. There will be perishable and non perishable team leaders. 2/3 of TLs will be laid off. Whole Foods already working on inventory and replenishment cloud based system to make buyers obsolete and streamline buying and scheduling so not as many team leaders needed

What is going to happen to Customer Service Team Leaders? And what about ATLs? Please share if possible.
Yes they will combine teams.. But if you think these clowns have the organizational and technical skill (even with the help of consultants) to achieve a cloud-based ordering and inventory management system that can effectively transition from the mess we have now, guess again. You can't compensate for 35 years of technological neglect and ongoing organizational incompetence by bringing in a consulting firm and firing the thousands of experienced leaders and technical people you will need in order to even make such a complex transition work. This doesn't mean that the transition to modern tech isn't needed, just that announcing such a plan doesn't mean they can execute it. It's just more of what investors WANT to hear. It's all about boosting the stock price so they can cash out. Remember that as long as that four-letter system runs the company, no real change is possible. What are they going to do, spend tens of millions of dollars, throw a switch and wave a magic wand and think it will all just make the stores, kitchens and distribution centers run on auto-pilot?

well I've worked at 3 NORCAL stores, am at 1 currently and meat and seafood are NOT combined. Not yet anyway
Im in the MA region and I believe all meat and seafood will combine eventually. it is coming to mason, lexington, dayton, newport news and the new harbor east store. In the northern California stores they have always been combo teams

Yes they combined in a few small stores already...but that's just the beginning. This WILL be rolled out to every store sometime in the new year
Not true. They combined teams in really small stores. Meat and seafood is one team in a few of our regions small locations already.
What about customer service? Are those TLs affected?
This is very true. Look at recent new stores opening. At one major one seafood and meat ARE combined. Check job listings. Someone already leaked a "Perishable team leader" posting about a week ago.
This will happen right after the holidays. Team leaders your jobs are not safe.
