That's why "IT" is found at the end of the word SHIT. That's what they produce the most.

Only thing he does is promote the use of incompetent consultants - take a look at the optimization project and you will see how consultants from deloitte-dolittle are running the project. They are great at power point presentations but nothing else, and the cost is one million per month to create PP presentations, drink beer with the PM and accumulate hotel and airline frequent flyer miles.
I wonder how much is deloitte-doolittle is giving braun and his cronies to sign these consulting contracts?
I am neither Indian nor Asian nor am I currently in an IT career ladder but I have an IT background and I am currently working within a tech dept. what I can say is the Indian and Asian IT managers deliver, I wish what I am about to type was not true but what you consider American outsource, offshore and sell capability down the road under the guise of managed service. Where do you think the work is being done, it sure as heck is not within the known borders of this country. But hey it's a managed service so it's okay, no it's not you just sent jobs to India buddy. It is an absolute shame but if you are posting for a 26 position you have been part moving work out of the U.S. If you the OP have not then I find it hard to believe that you are currently a 25/26. Maybe you are Milton meets BBT but in that case you should not be compensated at that level unless you are or are soon to be a fellow.
News as in announcements? Don't expect much, same incompetent cronies protecting each other and the standard musical chairs. I applied for a 26 position but of course some incompetent Indian or Asian lady got it. It SUCKS to be American, white, educated and competent, basicaly all the attributes that work against you.
I will ride this storm but I am leaving this company after 5 years. This company is not worth my talent nor my time. I can survive outside of Chevron just fine. I am glad I sold all my CVX stock at $129 knowing how screwed this place is.
Really guys, after 5 years, there is NOTHING good I can say about this company. Is really TRUE, everything you read.
And Bill Brown fix this SHIT man. Stop promoting people in functions they don't have any skills and then put accelerations teams together to fix their gross INCOMPETENCE. That's not how it works and you know better. You smarter than Louie and you really need to CLEAN the IT shop.
