Does anyone have any information on the upcoming layoffs? I've heard Sept 1st. Any idea what brands and who?

Yes, we know this. Not just in MC. I can hear the protestations,"but what did I do wrong?" Not enough due diligence maybe. And this while being escorted out the door. How pitiful. You see someone's got to pay the price. September draws near my friends.
Two full time faculty will be cut at the end of the Summer term with the likelihood that some Coordinators and Directors will be demoted and/or cut loose. That could not happen fast enough with a couple of Coordinators. One has to intrude on other departments to justify her job and the other has no real world job experience.

Directors are being asked to teach or do more support services in order to keep their jobs. Gossip of programs folding and being phased out to prepare for Gainful Employment. None of the numbers at AI add up for GE though so this one is hard to take seriously if they are keeping the schools open. With they sell of like Le Cordon Bleu/CECO?

Academic Counseling positions will be eliminated because all they do is play with their phones and talk to their students about what happened on the Bachelorette. This has been confirmed by the vice chancellor of South, David V Brusselberry.
Full time faculty will be cut - campus and online. This was made clear in July. Not enough faculty members took the severance and enrollment at ai is down almost 20%

EDMC clearly has a phase two plan to let go of more faculty. Faculty who didn't take the "voluntary severance package" (which mentions the future layoffs) will go. There are enough adjuncts to fill more jobs. It isn't about quality it is $ and enrollment is down.

I heard from a very reliable source that AI is expecting to cut 1200 jobs by the end of the calendar year. I'm not sure if that would come all in September
Many more to come! Likely to all go away at the end of the year from a solid source!
