Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

It was Crystal clear AMBU was done 3 years ago

If this place was still Atlas we would be drilling 350 wells like the rest of the independents here. Atlas also did not kill employees. Chevron hired fast food kids as well site managers. I was at Atlas for 7 months when Chevron bought them. After the retention bonus I left. The Atlas trash is still there with the clueless Chevron employees. I saw here on a post where Chevron is the joke of the basin. Indeed they are. We have 34 people and drill twice as many wells without killing contractors. And yes the people that were left after the reorganization was shocking. Most of the Chevron leaders leave after 2 years. What a f***ed up business model. For the two years I was there I had 5 different supervisors that never saw a perf gun. A friend told me about this board and it is funny but sad as it's all true. What a bunch of egotistical punks your company is filled with. You loose. You fail. You go bankrupt. It was Crystal clear AMBU was done 3 years ago. Once your Reliance JV is done in October you are toast. And yes this is a small basin so the word is out do not hire anyone from Chevron.

So the top post is from a guy named Bryce Yeager. You can't miss him in a crowd, he looks like Dennis the Menace. Hey Bryce, have fun looking for a job now that Chief closed their office here. Enjoy Fort Worth if they elect to move you. We don't miss you.

I WAS THERE. If you think your BU is messed up a dose of AMBU will set you straight. Think about this for a minute. Chevron needed to start a BU from scratch. Chevron can't order toilet paper. This was far far above the organization's capabilities.

Anonymous143922 I doubt that Reliance wants to continue a relationship with Chevron . They are so ready to get out, they went into a JV with Atlas that had potential . Atlas sold because they knew that these wells were unconventional. It took Chevron 4 years and Several Billion dollars to realize what Atlas did many years ago. Its a shame that AMBU will come to an end.

Reliance and Chevron had issues before they bought Atlas.Reliance has tried at every turn to get out of this deal for the 4 years. Reliance lost billion in other deals in the shale game with Pioneer and Carizzo. They will have less than 70 wells in the Marcellus for a 2 billion spend. And of course since Chevron completed the wells they are all under performers. Reliance has pulled out of the shale game. But your rationale. Would you even consider a deal with Chevron? They are the worst performers in the whole basin. They won't admit it but they are. Reliance pops a bottle of Champaign in October celebrate not spending time and money on a bunch a buffoons. Reliance paid 20 times.....yes 20 times the average cost per we'll and the only thing they learned was how not to run a shale gas business.

Chevron should have never purchased Atlas. It was not a good fit it never was and it was never going to work out. Those of us on the legacy Chevron side knew that from the beginning but we were so quick to chase Exxon into a world that neither company could really compete in that we just didn't care. The leaders who made those decisions should be fired

I heard the Reliance deal was renewed. Is there any truth to that?
