I wish lawyers would step up and take on the case against EDMC. If a group collected all the data it would surely create a case against the company. I know more than a few people who could tell what is going on at AI. I left a while ago but I think about all the stuff that happened that I didn't question enough because I got so used to the corruption - it became day to day life.

I AM AI needs to go beyond facebook. I looked at the facebook page and it seems there are only a handful of posters on the page. I support their cause but the spelling and grammar (all over the page) will make it difficult for the group to be taken seriously. Also, it reads like they just want their debt cleared. A student with an AS and a BS from an AI school has a hard time saying they were defrauded. Why stay for another degree? I was a faculty member until recently. What I see happening at AI now is criminal behavior. The quality of the school is horrifying. How do I help stop the fraud beyond liking a page on Facebook. Is anyone collecting information?

@Anonymous144156, I agree that consumer awareness is ultimately the key. But Ai keeps on buying tv time to tells us about the toughest job we can ever love................... http://www.ispot.tv/ad/74MT/the-art-institutes-welcome

CC the issue is that those of us whom have left the company don't want to be affiliated in any way with that place. I am sure the same goes for 90% of the workforce that are active aside from the six figure admissions reps and over-paid upper management. The best thing that could happen would be the place shuddering their doors for good and losing the $11 billion lawsuit. The only issue is THEY as in the company do not have $11 billion to repay and I sure do not want to see the tax payers put any more money towards large failed corporations be it the auto industry, banking industry, or for-profit schooling industry. In a true free market these companies would fail, close their doors, yes some would be out of money including their consumers but that alone would teach others to not operate in that fashion. Instead we have the Dodd-Frank act doing nothing for Wall Street just the same as for-profit found ways around gainful employment. Yes people were wronged but in the end the BEST way to stop the crooks at the top is to stop buying their products. It's bringing McDonalds down since they have a garbage product as it will bring EDMC down. And that my friend is the strongest vote the consumer has.
