I just checked the conference room calendars on October 5th for Westlake 2 & 3 and it does appear that several conference rooms are blocked under "private appointment" for the whole day just like back in April.

Been told that HR will be sending a notice out in two weeks... Probably to coincide with Sir Lancelot's B-Ville trip.

I checked it also and didn't see COP on it. Does that mean it wasn't filed? First round layoff group needs to check into it. Chevron showed about a 1000 people getting cut.

I checked the link and couldn't find ConocoPhillips on the Warn list for 2015. Shouldn't there have been one for the April layoff? I don't doubt a big layoff in the fall. Tired of waiting, tell us something.

The Tx state WARN Notice website is not updated daily. I've seen news articles about layoffs that cited Warn letters and the website took a week to update its excel table to show those letters. The reporters must call people at the state Warn desk (or vice versa). So a letter could indeed have been sent, per copy to local officials as required, and there could be a lag before the website shows it. Of course, the SPIRIT approach would be for COP to be transparent and share letter with employees at same time. Because "it's not what we do, it's how we do it".

Mister lawyer it has nothing to do with the warn act, just a city ordinance to notify mayor of impending layoff of 500 or more.

If it hasn't been posted here, it isn't official.
