Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Will my stocks get vested on 11/20 even if 11/13 is the my last day at work and if I use my vacation to complete working through the 60 day?

As I understand, you need to be employed so your stocks get vested on 11/20/215.

Let's say that I have 10 days or so of unused vacation time. What happens if the last day of my work at office is 11/30 and used my vacation for the rest of November?

Dude, just work through to your vest date, and take your vacation as cash payout, that way you get both.

you guys should read the go/realignment internal website.

It has answers to this and many other questions that are asked over and over on this layoff website.

But basically regarding this question, If you are impacted, the transition period will allow for the November 2015 vesting date.

nope.. If you're starting a new job, just push out your start day and just say that you need to finish up things at your old job...And if they really insist on you starting early, explain to them that you will miss out on your vesting which is $x...If the company realllly needs you to start immediately, they'll buy you out with an extra sign on bonus that is equal to how much you lost by not staying at the Q to vest. we're talking about a week here...not a month or two... Last time, I had the new company buy my unvested stock out.. The current company, I just told them to I wanted to start later. When they asked , I told them how much money the difference would be and that if they really needed me to start earlier, they can just pay me that amount....They then told me just to start 1 week later.

You cannot use your vacation to extend your employment and health coverage. You are officially employed until your GTFO date. After that, your vacation is cashed out and your health coverage expires at the end of the month. You will be out of luck in terms of RSUs vesting if you are no longer employed on 11/20.

I meant to say

"What happens if the last day of my work at office is 11/13 and used my vacation for the rest of November?"
