For example the fatality at AMBU...the rest of the story..... Allegedley Jesse Morris a D&C manager who did not want to snub in production casing....why? He was somewhere and some got killed snubbing so the story goes. So Jesse is D&C manager in AMBU and decides no snubbing.....Chevron snubs production casing everywhere else. Everyone snubs in casing....EVERYONE...except AMBU. No snubbing leads to stabbing the live well with coil to place a plug and then leave a frac head on the live well for months. This was the root cause for the PA fatality and Chevron has no clue. My last attempt was talking to the new VP who came from a refinery and had zero upstream experience and a few months later everyone's prediction came true. Inexperience hands working on a live well that was plugged several months before and rocked up close to 5,000 PSI. If Morris was not such a dumb ass we would have snubbed the production casing in and be done with it at least do it with D&C personnel not production personnel that have zero well experience......but the Chevron Way to Get fed in the Ass....Morris gets promoted. F up to move up. His idiotic and blatant negligence kills a young man. This is public knowledge and guess what, as of last month they still don't snub!!!! DISASTER. Chevron should not be allowed to operate.

Correct SJV does not snub. The reason why? Morris came from there to AMBU. So the poster a few posts below two places in North America do not snub.....If Jesse Morris ends up somewhere else other than GOM bingo use coil. I do not use the word dumb lightly Jesse Morris is dumb!

Jesse Morris does not know what a P&ID is? It was asked where is the P&ID of the frac layout as it is put together with sledgehammers pounding on hammer unions which then is energized to 10,000 psi to frac, we need to verify PRV's and Transducers as critical safety devices. Jesse asked "What the hell is a P&ID?". Once the dumb was was told about it his response was we don't need that we have well safe. The jack ass has no clue well safe is for below the wellhead. What about the frac spread? Yes Chevron, this is your D&C leadership. Jesse's new nick name should be P&ID.

Jessie were you their? I just read where a employee said everything is relatively the same all through Chevron. AMBU was formed under this current leadership which has failed at everything. AMBU is uniquely bad in the Enterprise. I was there after the fatality and can say the behaviors and attitude after the death of a young man were atrocious. I left after two days. People laughing, joking, eating swapping war stories, From a business standpoint you have not figured out phase 1 or 2 and to what I have been told you still have not. I would advise SJVBU, GOMBU, DWEP, MCBU, CBU if you think your BU is horrible visit AMBU you will see it can get worse. For two days we talked about the pizza fiasco that made the national news instead of focusing on well control. REALLY! Why people would not actively try and get out of there is beyond my imagination. You do have to take some personal responsibility because you still are there. I also should have pondered that trip. I am still with the Enterprise myself.
