It is a shame that good folks end up like this. BHI and HAL like the other companies are all over you when times are good, but give you a boot in the rear when things change. Maybe the lesson to learn is how much you are worth to them in the good times and demand the pay you deserve. It will take everyone to band together in order to make them pay more. Figure out how much you lost since being laid off and make it back in order to do their bidding again. It will not be easy to get the extra cash, but there is power in numbers, that's what unions do and you can do it without forming one if people stick together. Does $40.00+ an hour sound fair to you, it is still far less then top management makes.

Jeez. You people are dumber than a bag of hammers. "Stick together?" REALLY? How many? How long? How MUCH It's going to take a lot more than just "sticking together", clown,... at some point you'll need the services of an attorney, or two,... and THEN, most of your "posse" will bail on you. Get real.
Problem with unions is they become more corrupt than the entity they exist to challenge. Soon the union boss is playing golf with the managers. It's best to get what you can get while you can get it. Throw teamwork out the window and forget loyalty. These are one sided tools of control. Know who's cool and stick with them if you must stick with anyone. The snakes around you will stab you in the back faster than the company. Truth
