Due to HR's lack of confidentiality, we now know the actual date for the layoffs to happen: Sept. 16. Two weeks from tomorrow. This is consistent with past layoffs in that the company never does them on either Mondays or Fridays (some strange logic about not wanting to ruin the week or weekend. Not sure that helps, as it's not like you get over losing your job in one day). Start looking now although IOS doesn't have a lot of openings and the ones that are on there don't seem to be legit.

I declare Sept 16 a Friday. I rename it Friday. I rename the Gregorian calendar to Obamian calendar.
Sep 16 is Not Friday, it is Fire-day.
