Varco was a great company to work for, National not so much. However, everyone was taken care of as far as severance packages go. So many of you complain. What happened to being greatful? I for one am, and Will always cherish memories of the relationships created and knowledge gained. Owen Unruh has done an amazing job navigating his way through this terrible downturn in business. Good luck to all of you in this next chapter of your life. I miss you all. God bless you and your families.

October 5, another 49 from machine shop, indirect and a few from senior Management will be gone. It is sad
3 supervisors, 6 engineers, more indirect people then direct labor. most from assembly.
sucks! A buddy lost his job here a planner who has been in NOV for about 10 years.
OC used to be the bread and butter
I was one of those 49. No one should have to go through that. I busted my hump. Never late. Heck I had 2 of my tires punctured and I still made it to work on time. There are a lot of people that should get laid off, yet they keep their job. I feel betrayed.
