Apple buying qct would make a lot of sense. God knows they have the $$
It would be good move for Apple. Buy Qct, stop selling modems and SoCs to everyone else. Screw all the competition. Everyone run to intel and mtk. Intel, mtk not set up to cope with the demand. Phone makers lose money. stocks tank. Intel/mtk panick to support, start hiring shitloads of PMs and CEs from Q. Sales start to soar, but expenses soar also. JANA comes in to unlock value...
If the offer is high enough to cover rent of at least $3,500 per month, plus about a 15% increase in your living expenses, I'd go for it. Especially if you are young, unattached and don't own property here.
