You are 24 by the time you get your graduate degree in Electrical Engg or Comp Sci. You land up at QC with a job (Best employer as per so many rating😀😀😀).
QC 's Green Card Queue is huge. You slog your butt waiting 1/2 your life for another team to give you HW or API etc. You are 32 by the time that wretched Green Card comes into your hands. You are married with kids & a big fat mortgage in Poway or Del Mar or Rancho Bernardo.
Worse, you are "comfortable" with your job. You bleed pointers, build failures, chipsets etc. you loose track of the financial situation of your company. One fine day, you loose your job & cant clear one goddamn interview.
The VP has made his money. The VP's friends have made money. You are like that nut who gets warm hugs & pat on the back for busting your hump 80 hours.
You killed your Entrepreneurial ability because you did not see that your cheese moved & like a headless chicken you ask, "Who moved my cheese?".
