Severance for 1.5 years experience? Pro-rated to 1.5 years or just 1 year?

If you have 1.5 years experience do you get severance for 1 year or is it pro-rated to 1.5 years?

Regardless of what the answer is, if you are willing to play hard ball and negotiate, you can get more than 2 years. Go for double and work down from there.

It's based on year hire to year let go.

all years of experience are rounded up, if you work 1 year and 1 day it is 2 years

I was 6.5 years in the company and CPC prorated to 6 years back in April lay offs.
