I've got marketable skills, 15 years, and a 2- last year due to conflict with people who matter. Already started interviewing with other companies. Will they let me go, or will they keep me around to see how long it takes me to quit? Any advice on how to EOI? And finally, how / when should I tell my collegues that I have asked to go.

Surprised you are still around. I though most all for the 2- have already been laid off. I would look outside of the company for future employment.
Why are you worried about how/when to tell your colleagues you elected to go? That would be the last thing I'd be concerned about.
What is EOI?
EOI, I was expecting a severance in R1, did not post for my own position but did not EOI and now I am doing my job plus additional responsibilities of a position that was eliminated.
You have marketable skills, but cannot figure out how to check the box to indicate EOI. Think the 2- was more than you think it was.
Do everything without alerting Chevron or your colleagues at work. Line up a new job but don't hire on until you sign your severance papers. Keep your options wide open, but keep things close to your vest.
