I don't think the business about layoffs occurring the Tuesday of a pay week applies any longer. We now get paid in arrears meaning your pay stub will be for work done two weeks earlier.

Are they straying from the Tuesday of a payweek to throw us off?
I took home personal stuff in July so if I get cut I'm ready to go AND creating value by not having someone pack my office.
