Someone should do a video "mockumentary" on the inevitable deconstruction of QCOM. We could assemble it from snippets of shots of SM, PJ, JANA/Barry, various VPs and other Board members as they avoid answering those hard-hitting questions about the company's future, that are filmed with smart phones. Also, someone really needs to film a few of those breakfasts where they finally discuss those issues that REALLY upset employees--like being relegated to the "cube farm," or the quality of the food in the QCOM cafeteria....
Rember when PJ said they were not going to sell the handset business just before it was sold..

Does this nullify the perception of total capitulation to Barry? It would be an awesome coincidence if they had been planning all along to give Barry two board seats, and then, voila! --- he just happened to demand two board seats.
I think it is headed for a split. These imbeciles are going to get rid of 15% of the workforce. It is not as if the work has decreased. In fact, with Samsung coming in, it will be worse. The ones left will have to take on additional work for lesser benefits. Soon, more people will get disillusioned and leave. Most likely, there will be additional rounds of layoffs next year. They won't hire replacements and the remaining folks will again have to pick up the slack. On and on it will go until they spin-off QCT and appease the JANA overlords
