This Labor Day folks are likely to pay the lowest gas prices since 2004. US consumers are saving more than $1bn on gas every weekend compared to 2014. That means drivers could save between $15 to $25 on every trip to the gas station. It is unbelievable that drivers are ending their summer vacations with the lowest gas prices for this time of year in more than a decade. US Labor Department says low gas prices are basically tax cuts. Currently more than 5% of US stations are selling gas for less than $2 a gallon. There will be many more gas stations with less than $2 a gallon by Christmas. Cheer up and drive on!
