rumors on message boards are that powerful shareholders want to merge the two companies. This would be amazing for CHK. They likely have contracts on some levels to buy CHK's gas. Of course this only makes sense as we are the 2nd largest producer of a product Cheniere wants to export. This does not mean there will be a merger anytime soon. I hope a merger happens!
