How Can Things Be Going So Badly

After the implementation of the Peake Potential program? Those trainings changed my life and from what I was told were integral in driving CHK to top quartile performance. Surely that wasn't yet another waste of time and money.

Oh you mean that CHK abandoned that oh-so-useful training Who Moved My Cheese? Fing hell I wanted to smash something when I was told this was fing mandatory - then to see Cathy Tompkins tell Computerworld that we spend X dollars per year on training our IT folks. Yeah - you spend that much on USELESS F***ING TRAINING!

Anybody notice the office training video starts off by people discussing an employees personal health information? Isn't that illegal under HIPPA laws?

100% of the time. I also park my giant Tahoe in the end spaces clearly marked "compact vehicles only." Then, I don't do a full 360 degree walk before leaving the area. I live life to the fullest. Sometimes I even walk up the stairs two steps at a time without even touching the handrail.

You both sound like the type of people who would drive around the speed bumps in the parking garage.

Just like the mandatory office safety training, where you learned valuable information such as not to trip, how to get up and not hurt yourself during use of office equipment. Not sure how I survived all these years in a professional environment without seeing that, I guess I've just been lucky. I'll be more cautious now when operating my stapler.
