We didn't get laid off. 5 of us got terminated because of "performance issues". No write-ups, or writtens, but all of us had "performance issues".

I wish you gents well...
They were starting this weeks ago. They started it by simply defining some of the objectives differently. One that I heard was that teamwork no longer meant helping out the team as it was needed, you were now expected to predict the future and solve problems for other product lines(strangely enough, just the ones that reported to that same manager) that people were just learning before the guys with years of experience even had an inkling that there was an issue(such as predicting exactly when a part would break and having the foresight, would have justified ordering a part that is changed once every few years in time for it to be at the shop at the time of the failure, even with the months that parts like that were back ordered)

Once you sign that Severance paper, you give up all of your rights. So, is the money more important than dragging this out in court? Which you will lose. And if your one of these idiots that were layed off, i'll help you...TAKE THE F***EN MONEY
Perhaps the actual reason was correct. Lot of laziness at WGB. Mainly in the warehouse. Lack of FOCUS and understanding of job duties.
