How many wells did Aramco put up for bid for fracing? Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't around 1800+. So how many wells did Baker get? How many wells did Halliburton get? How many did Schlumberger get? (Word is almost the lot) Didn't Baker move move most of the PP expats out of Saudi to some to some of other countries in the region that have a little bit of work going on?

Maybe this puts a little light on the current situation regarding layoffs.

I work out of the Dickinson yard and we just lost our only customer Continental! i think we are done unless they send us out of district. Nobody will stay for 30 hours a week.

Lots of truth here , There is no room for pressure pumping in a Halliburton portfolio . Nobody wants to buy ( pressure pumping business or goodwill ) so it must be disposed of . The assumed number three competitors are struggling so they will need their available cash to make it through the next two years. PP will be gone all but a few by years end.

The stimulation business Baker Highes is disolving. The pressure pumping is half of what it was when Baker bought it. Baker had no clue how to operate it and now it it nothing. All the product lines can blame pressure pumping for the fall of Baker but in fact Baker had no business being in the pressure pumping business. They cut all the experience out and left minions to run it which they all failed. They have went from over 60 frac crews to less the. 20. They are about to close Dickinson ND and the rest of the rockies Pressure pumping and it has nothing to do with the crews and all because it was Mis managed. All of Texas is about to close as well as Oklahoma and Baker has dissolved the main reason this deal with Halliburton has not gone through. Many hard working Americans had to be the guinea pig for this cooperate giant. The oil sector has treated its employee as pawns in the last nine months and wonders why there is no loyalty to cooperate America. It is because it does not treat is employees like they are worth anything. When the times are good cooperate America will tell them there is nothing more important then them but when tea are tough they give up on them. There is no keeping the top talent and we will all start over when this picks up with green crews and act like this is the first time.
