Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

If you no longer like working at Weatherford then leave

I just want to say that I am so tried of reading all the negative post about Weatherford and management. I am not in management and I have worked for the company along time and have had some good managers and some not good ones. But the point i am trying to make is if you are still employed you should be thankful you have a job and if you are that unhappy then you should leave. There alot of unemployed people who would be happy to do your job.

Exactly, if you hate it so much GTFO. There are some of us that were laid off that would welcome the chance to go back. Shit or get off the pot.

I have to somewhat agree with the poster. I bet those who complain about WFT will be filled with sorrow once they are cut. No Weatherford is not looking out for you. It's business. Tell me when did a company ever look out for an individual that's not a CEO? On the other hand, Weatherford has made some very bad calls that is costing jobs.

Gross. Be thankful, my butt. The company is not grateful (or loyal to) its labor force and the labor force owes it nothing in return.

This is why we need to bring back labor unions. There are too many whiny puppets who think that we should just be happy with what we get and that we should worship corporate morons. It's a business exchange not a lordship. Businesses get to be a part of the chamber of commerce and have their interests looked after - anyone looking out for yours? I know Weatherford 's not.
