Huawei would probably be a good place to work if you have a key skill that they compete with QCOM on. If you are Chinese it's probably even better--unless your family is from the wrong political persuasion, in which case, it could be a very bad place to work. Either way, they will work your ass off--just like QCOM. But it might buy you some breathing room until you find a job you really like.

It is OK to work for Huawei , and be prepared to go to court as a witness and/or participant to IP infringement and/or IP stealing. Oh wait, today’s Huawei is different and strives to be an honest and upstanding citizen of world community. This is the company that had a hand in the China NDRC investigation.
