Chevron should have built a floating LNG (FLNG) facility instead of building a LNG plant on an island that is also a nature preserve. What a nightmare.

My bet: 4 years from now LNG will be super hot and super profitable. It's so cyclical, it's unbelievable. But, we need to capitulate first, every single last person should stop believing that LNG has future. Once that happens you will know that we turned the corner. They do not ring bells at tops and bottoms, but paying attention to 'capitulation' served me well over the decades.
LNG is not a disaster, Chevron's operational management is. There's a reason why ExxonMobil's PNG went live as scheduled and CVX is still failing to get a cargo out the door.
