If doom is approaching, then why have 311 job postings actively listed? Doesn't make sense to me. All but 5 of the postings were created this year and the first 8 pages were posted this month.

it's because the people currently employees don't have transferable job skills. So they have to hire.
As Bernard stated on the last conference call, they are building a strong bench..... then maybe a picnic table or a gazebo
All those openings are phantom openings to look good for GE's due diligence. Gives the impression the company is growing instead of sinking.
They ain't done yet. You can only fit so much into one truck.
Looks like they missed some trash....
They have to hire people to replace the trash they took out, obviously.,
