I asked about this policy when I got let go and they said it was being honored. I got a call yesterday that it is being honored. Just an FYI if you moved in the last 24 months as a Chevron employee they are honoring the agreement now. I just closed on a house this year so this is fantastic news!

Yes, I'm happy for you and that Chevron is honoring their committment to move you back to your original location before relocating less than 24 months ago. We all make sacrifices sometimes to help the company and our own careers when asked to move to new job locations. It's good to know the company is making good on their long-standing policy to relocate the employee, especially when unforeseen cercumstances present themselves within 2 years of a move.
