If QCOM has an excuse to fire SM without giving him all of his golden parachute, JANA-Barry and the rest of the Board will probably look the other way, and HR may not even subtract the comp time from all of us for participating!
152172: A lot of us have family to support. We also have limits to the crap we are willing to take from employers. And yes, SM may have a golden parachute, but he's not going to get the bulk of his $51 million stock deal if he has to leave now; and no one will touch him if he can't motivate his employees, and is such a crappy manager that his people would very publicly walk off the job. I'm leaving at 10:00 on Monday after I read all of my emails--regardless of whether I have a job at the end of the week or I don't. Then I'm outa there! I may join the protest if any of you have the balls. Otherwise, I'm just spending a relaxing day at the beach.

He's not going to walk away with $50 million if the stock tanks to $0, and if EVERYONE walks off the job, the stock will drop like a rock. Remember, most of his shares haven't vested yet.
Well, SM has golden parachute. He is explosion proof. Even if everyone walks off, he still walks away with 50 million. The only ones who will hurt are the worker bees.
