The domestic drilling boom that has made the United States one of the world’s top oil producers is dying. The fact that we are living through revolutionary times in U.S. energy does not mean we can ever be energy independent. Even if the United States was able to produce enough oil to reduce its imports to zero, domestic oil prices will always fluctuate with the global crude price. The U.S. will never be energy independent.

That's some laughable shit, man.
Look around your house, inside your car or plane, probably 50% or more things use a byproduct or crude- electricity, plastic, gels, paint and so on. Fuel is one of the many products. Rest assured, Crude ain't going soon
China's economic bubble is about to burst. All hell is gonna break loose.
Wait, do you think the only thing oil is used for is cars? Do you think there's a multi-trillion dollar crude industry for oil changes?
Well, imagine a scenario we are no car needs oil. I am pretty sure that both you and me will see this play out in our lives.
National security rule. Use up other nations resources first and keep yours for last
I'm sorry, all I heard was, "Derpety derp, I have no idea what I'm talking about, derp."
It was a lovely effort though. Keep that chin up.
