Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

If you laid-off and on H1b visa, we have to leave the country in 10 days, max 30 days on extension unless QC didn't report to USCIS

It is illegal if we overstayed, h1b will not be transferred and it get cancelled. Just confirmed with my lawyer.

Change your status to B1 visitor for three months, otherwise it is illegal to stay
