Yesterday evening there was a fatal accident in our yard at Tananger. A driver from a trucking company tragically died after an incident during loading operations.
Baker Hughes employees immediately tried to assist with life-saving actions, and called emergency services. Unfortunately his life could not be saved.
Emergency services were in attendance and the Norway crisis management team was mobilized
The incident is, as a matter of routine, under investigation by the authorities and Baker Hughes. Further information will be shared with our employees as soon as practically possible.
In the meantime, our thoughts are with the deceased, his family and colleagues.
