With rush results flowing in, any more talk about layoffs? getting rid of poor performing store managers?, reorganizing? great job retalon did?

Might be a good time to swap those shades for waders.

To Anonymous157265, I'm only impressed that no one in senior management realizes that the whole CNS team could be replaced tomorrow with a 1/3 reduction in cost and nothing would suffer. This is what happens when your senior management team has ZERO knowledge of net ops systems and think what you do is some sort of super genius s**t. Net ops admins are a dime a dozen. Pat yourselves on the back for working for a company where senior management is a bunch of dolts. CNS, CNS, CNS!

To 157265, quite frankly it's a network and most networks are pretty reliable these days. Get over yourselves for once. You want to be impressive find a way to be something other other than a cost center and stop ripping on those who are trying and try adding to the bottom line yourselves. 'Think outside the box'.

I think Retalon will really save the company during the next rush.

CNS - dollar wise there has never been an actual return. Cost center not a profit center. So by what matrix definitions are the ROI being measured?

CNS repeatedly demonstrates their value. 10 times return on investment!

They tried IT outsourcing and SS failed miserably. Spend more millions on it? The network department is what most companies outsource first. Easier measurements, more cost effective, more savings and retains company knowledge. Duh?

Systems did not work. Failed upgrades and on and on

He stripped theCM dept of ALL knowledgable people, those who knew how to prepare stores for rush. The right book in the right place at the right time - if that is the motto he lives by, then he failed and should be out.

I'm hearing that it's possible as soon as early November. Are they focusing on a certain date?

If they were smart (and they are not), they would get rid of GT. ultimately, the lack of the right books in the stores at Rush is his responsibility.

IT outsourcing and change will continue to be a top priority. Systems continue to disappoint and impacted the inventory in my stores. Did not have the right books at the start of class. Successful businesses need efficient and effective IT.

Home office employees with more than 5 years experience will likely go first. That would exclude the new leaders and all the friends they have hired.

30 stores lost? Way to go Pat and Mike! Where has the Marketing Department gone!

Honestly? It'll hit store personnel first. I suspect a buy in to some abstract concept regarding labor like staffing a store with no salaried employees or folding small stores into 'regional' stores for labor purposes. Point is, lacking any real creative talent for creation, they'll resort to the same ham fisted tactics regarding overhead reduction we've seen again and again and again.

You can bet the discussions are being had. Current store count dropped by 30 overnight. We're down to 1032. Neebo really was a way of covering up major contract losses.
