Agree. If it were really happening we would have heard already. I would guess we can expect these kinds of posts every Tuesday. In reality it could happen any time and any day of the week.

Kinda funny you would call someone an idiot in the same post you actually reiterated what was said. Not everyone was canned the same day, rank played a small part but it sure seemed coordinated as far as department not rank.

I was implying the 8am post was for an 830 meeting. Not everyone was canned the same day last time. With as many as there are to be laid off it can't happen in one conference room.
Amazingly, the exact same post hit the Devon page at almost the exact same time. Incredible that the two companies would coordinate that event. Makes the post seem even more believable than it already was.
In 2013 the email notification sound was audible to everyone in a hallway so we knew it was happening. It was then a matter of seeing who got it as they headed to the green room for the slaughter.
He posted it at 8:00 not 8:30. And yes they aren't gonna start based on one managers employees. They will do it company wide meaning every employee will need to be in.
My managers don't even wrap up their Creekside daily breakfast until at least 9:15.

"It looks like the entire hallway did too." So let me follow you here, you ran up and down the hall checking to see if everyone received a similar email? Or does your building have a system where everyone hangs an article of clothing on their door handle to signal when they receive an email?
An 830 meeting would not be too early especially if your manager knows what time everyone gets in.
I'm hoping it isn't true but not surprised if it has actually started.
They don't send it this early as many employees may not be in yet.
