Sounds like a good deal. Costs less to live in Houston. You could probably buy a gas station, AND a rental property in addition to a house if you sell your current houses for a good price.

You can't retire on $2million these days. $2milkion really is like what $500k was. The minimum is $5mil, and that would still mean a relatively low key lifestyle.
