My friend's band, "The Status Collectors" will be playing Q-LOL (layoff on the lawn) tomorrow. Actually there is no music, its just a 1.5 hour sound check, collecting status from instruments and microphones. A few melodies will be played Q2 2016 if no schedule slips

Thursday night movie this week is "Dead Man Walking"
I can envision this band now: They're the ones wearing dockers, polo shirts and Bass Weejuns--with a touch of Alice Cooper eye make-up under the eyes so they can whine convincingly about working 80 hrs. per week.
