From today's U-T, a "bark-out" success story from QCOM's Robotics division! For a mere $250 retail, you too may soon purchase a robotic device that "entertains" your dog--so your pet doesn't get lonely while you are working 80+ hr. weeks to make up for the manpower shortage after the layoffs. (See, QCOM cares about your pets too!) Not sure how well it would be received by my German Shepherd, who is terrified of the vacuum, and who mauls the Roomba when it gets too close to her food dish. Frankly, I think she'd be happier with a pair of my old Topsiders--replacement cost, about $90 at DSW.

154096: Inability to appreciate humor and failure to question certain issues such as "design concept," "utility," "cost" or "practicality" are generally perceived as signs of mental dullness in this business. But I take it that indicates your job is safe.

Why complain that Q is getting into robotics? That is good news the way robotics is going these days.
Genuis this will save Qualcomm!! Maybe add some cat toys just to be sure.
