This is the first I've heard about this, will it affect my team? I'll have to arrange a meeting if someone can help me do this.
Here's the plan for the transfer to our QIPL friends, first they need to enrol in some proper university and complete a degree, no, you can't pay to get it in europe. Once they have grasped the basics of embedded programming, we can train them on the particulars of the geran code base. I am going to have such a laugh when geran is in the spotlight for stability issues, lte will be happy, pressure will move to geran and they will have some rest!
What I don't get is how come they expect people in UK to transition their knowledge/expertise to QIPL while knowing that they will be laid off eventually within 9 months. They will need to find us in the pubs or or at home etc but definitely not in the office so good luck with that and don't blame even for one second any of the folks in the UK or question their professionalism. What is happening to us is ridiculous.
