Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

During the 12/10/2014 layoff, you could leave early (before 2/10/2015) and still get balance of 2mo WARN pay plus...

...the full severance package of 2mo + 2wks/yr of service. Are people getting shafted this time around where you must stay until 11/20 in order to get the package?

This is negotiable with HR. Before you sign your severance package, ask them to amend the wording in the document such that you still get the package if you were to leave for another outside opportunity before the end of the 60 day WARN period
