Slaughter VPs and Sr. Directors by 60%

Most of them are useless and built their empires. Not sure without slaughtering these fat cats, Qualcomm can recover. They will continue to suck up bonuses and RSUs causing good employees to leave.

Qualcomm wake up. Make the RIF impactful.

We also need reduce Sr.VP by 50% and executive VPs by 50%. - Where is the blood here?

I fully agree on the 50% reduction beyond "Director". They have garbage folks running the show.

Imo Q management/HR really needs to show some " good faith" that they recognize the fallacies in the management and are fixing this... Starting from fixing the unfair promotions in the last round for all the VPs. Good intelligent folks will leave without seeing any good faith signs of improvement....

The execs in CR&D are spoiled children who need to be given some responsibility other than creating patents worth less than toilet paper.

CR&D has lot of sr. directors and VPs not showing accountability and getting lot of RSUs. If they keep them, move them to QCT so they do real work. I heard some of Sr. Directors go home at 4PM. I also think they are so close to HR so they never get impacted. Bad sign for Qualcomm when you have such culture at top, Best thing would be to merge R&D with QCT so R&D top heavy non contributing leads show accountability. IMO.

Accountability at the executive management level is ABSENT. Why? Folks on this forum were talking about symptoms than root cause and making nasty comments.

The big things to focus are:

Who should take fall for not being able to predict and plan for market shifts?

Who should take responsibility for making arrogant comments about MTK and get screwed in China by Chineese?

Why do we need so many lawyers as we don't invent any more?

Why do we need so many Product managers as we make less than 10 chips per year?

Why do we need so many sales people?

Why do we need two Co-Presidents - Redundancy right here?

Why we have all OLD boys running the company?

They are busy putting together the lists and adding extra Rsu spend to their pocket. Also prepping for a reach around for SM.
