Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Layoffs happened.

Some confirmed in engineering and other support services. Duncan, Oklahoma City, and new 'supercamp' hit. Keep your head low and brush up your resumes.

OKC office lost at least two very knowledgeable people. Some that are left in mis management do not know that centralizers do NOT have threads on them as an example. These 'know nothings' are the very people Halliburton was in love with for the last 20 years to hire. The company is infested with them and no one above knows it or is too scared to admit it. Summer of 2016 will show everyone what happens with this backward thinking.

Keeping your head low will do nothing for you. Brushing up your resume ? By doing what to it? Sprinkling some pixie dust on it? Outlying camps are being closed with some personnel moved to the super camp at ElReno. I would expect the result will be a forced retrenchment to the super camp because they can no longer afford to drive out to those old areas any more, as well as the competition is already taking the work in those areas. The super camp is a money pit, it requires mass amounts of revenue to exist and they still spend money in the old yards for various necessities. Revenue is drying up. Keep your head up instead so you can watch the implosion, it will be a dandy I think.
