Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

if you are trying to get out of a crappy company it can be really hard. We all have kids, mortgage, etc. Sometimes it is better to scale back and be happier at your job or try a different career altogether. Good luck; like I always tell my friends; If you like things they way they are enyoy it, it doesn't last forever and conversely if you don't like things the way they are don't worry ALL things change eventually.

I'm not Qualcomm and I'm just employed at a retarded 30 plus year company that is spiraling down the drain. I'm just pissed I now have to compete with a big mass of Qualcomm employees.

you f***ing overly entitled Qcommers make me want to vomit. Yes you had a good product and good run. Does that make you gods gift to engineering? Everyone else in industry has been getting screwed with severance packages for a long long time. Your problem is that you feel entitled to your stock options and bonuses. How exactly did they screw you? By laying you off? You aren't an indentured servant. Get off your ass and get a new job or start your own company and quit whining like you just had your nuts chopped off. GROW UP!
