Is this the same HR person that insisted that there would be no layoffs (look back in this web site several months)? If so, you guys have no credibility. Not that you guys lied - I think you just didn't know at that time until it was handed down to you. But just realize that that bridge has been crossed and your messages are just going to fall on deaf ears going forward. People are in shell shock and its going to take a while to get back to normal.
