What the hell you guys, why do you feel the need to kick the artists while they're already down? It's f***ing hard to get a steady job doing art nowadays, and it's a blessing that Whole Foods has provided these jobs. (Until who knows when at least.)

I'd also like to add that in many regions, most SGA work is printed design already and guess what - that takes skill too. Now go fetch me that olive oil i special ordered you petulant, jealous little pricks.
Say whatever you want, but the job takes skill - some have more than others and are compensated accordingly. I'm really not sweating taking shit from you stock boys prep cooks. My job is secure - at least you'll always have Target. Or WalMart. Or any other grocery store. Seriously, your job can be done anywhere. By anyone.

Well, you heard it first hand folks! Think about it team members, we bust our assessment all day long. On our feet all day, dealing with customers, and putting up with all the bus handed down the chain as this lazy fool sits on his ass all day, in his "GA Office, sipping his brew from hisown private coffee pot, grazing on snacks on day ON TOP of getting his breaks and lunches, while getting paid $23+/hr. To make half ass chalks that aren't creative or artistic at all. It's just freaking words with different colors. I hope they do get rid of your position and have the printers take over so that we are consistent across the country. We should toss your position and give half of that pay to our hard working GSC running in and out of the heat/cold everyday. $23/hr for handwritten signs..... no wonder we are struggling as a company.
Screw you, pal. I've worked as an SGA for two different regions and haven't met anyone who hasn't busted their ass to fill asinine requests like yours. We put up with our fair share of BS from the likes of you - and many of us are highly trained an educated. That's ok, though - before I left my last SGA job for regional, I was pulling in $23 per hour and crying all the way to the bank. Suck on that.

Yes, GAs don't do shit anyways. I'm assuming that they get paid more than $11 to write up chalk boards and signs that don't involve any creativity or thought. The woman at my stores sits at her desk all day and eats things throughout her shift. When we ask for signs to be made, she replies that we have missed the deadline and won't be completed until the following morning. Bitch! What are you doing NOW!?!?! Oh and my personal favorite, "have you submitted it through ESRS yet?" After I just explained to her exactly what I needed as she eats in my face with crap inbetween her teeth. Good riddance!
